Serenity Farm celebrated an excellent week of success with our team during the World Equestrian Center’s Ocala Winter Spectacular VI.
The pair of Sadie Remington and her own Tom Sawyer have impressed us all season with consistent ribbons in the equitation, including third place in the THIS Medal and a second and third place in the 15-17 this week. Also showing in the jumper ring, Sadie and Clintour De Torres soared to a fourth place finish in the competitive Low Children’s Jumper Classic.

Competing aboard three horses, Sophia Bruny piloted excellent rides in the equitation and jumpers. With Shakiro, Sophia rode to fourth place in the ASPCA Maclay. In the jumpers, Sophia and Halifax Van De Conynenberg galloped to a speedy second place in the Medium Junior Jumper Classic. Aboard Ultimate Grace, Sophia was also second in the Low Junior/Amateur Owner Jumper Speed class.

In the hunter ring, Claire Bruny rode Abigail Kelley’s Cayman AL to great trips in the Children’s Hunters 14/U, placing second with a beautiful round.

Our adults were also spectacular this week, including Caroline Ravenel and Leanne Strauss. Jumping double clear on both horses, Caroline placed 5th in the Low Junior/Amateur Owner Classic on Crescenda Z, also finishing tenth aboard Grandy de Laubry. Leanne and Cedric put in excellent rounds this week in the Novice Adult Jumpers, taking home second and third place.

As for the professionals, both Kelli Cruciotti-Vanderveen and Boy-Adrian Van Gelderen competed in the Welcome and Grand Prix. Aboard Isabella Van De Zuuthoeve, Kelli galloped to eighth place in the C. Jarvis Welcome Prix on Wednesday and twelfth in the $100,000 1.50m Budweiser National Grand Prix. Making their partnership debut at 1.50m, Boy-Adrian and his own APG Jazzlyn put in a competitive effort with just four faults in the Grand Prix.
