The team at Serenity Farm Show Stables had a great past few weeks in Wellington, Florida where they competed at The Ridge and Weeks 7 and 8 of the Winter Equestrian Festival.
At The Ridge, Team Serenity had a successful Equitation Tuesday, including two blue ribbon rides for Sophia Bruny and Shakiro in the ASPCA Maclay and Dover Medal. In the USHJA 3’3 Jumping Seat Medal, Sadie Remington and Claire Bruny put in excellent rounds to take second and third, respectively. Our equitation riders continued to impress throughout Week 7 of WEF, with numerous top 10 placings in large medal classes.
In the jumper ring at WEF 7, our Adult Amateur Jumpers had excellent rounds receiving many placings over the division . Caroline Ravenel rode Crescenda Z and Grandy de Laubry to multiple ribbons, while Julia Stephens piloted her own Family Affaire.
During WEF 8, the Bruny sisters dominated the jumper rings with impressive placings throughout the week. In the Low Junior Jumpers, Sophia Bruny sped to fourth place in the $10,000 NAL Classic on Halifax Van de Conynenberg. Sophia also rode Ultimate Grace to ninth in the same class. Not to be outdone, Claire Bruny galloped Serenity Farm’s Zidante to second in the $1,500 Low Children’s Jumper Classic, as well as a second place finish in Friday’s class to claim the division championship .
Julia Stephens also had excellent rides in the Adult Amateur Jumpers in a competitive division, while Sadie Remington and Tom Sawyer received respectable ribbons in the 12-14 Equitation.
We are very proud of our client’s success over the past few weeks. As always, a huge thank you to our grooms and clients for making our success possible. We cannot wait to see what is in store for the last few weeks of WEF.
